Terms of service

Plain-language terms covering how we source and deliver used OEM parts, what you pay, and how returns and our fulfilment promise work.

Last updated: June 2026. These terms apply to your use of the Auto128 website and to any part you ask us to source and deliver.

1. Who we are

Auto128 (“Auto128”, “we”, “us”) is a used auto-parts sourcing and cross-border delivery service. We help you find genuine used Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts by their part number, source them from professional dismantlers across Europe, and deliver them to your door worldwide.

In these terms, “you” means anyone who uses our website or places a part request. You can reach us any time at info@auto128.com.

By using the site or asking us to source a part, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. The service we provide

We are not a marketplace where you buy directly from third parties. Behind every order is our own operator, who sources the part, handles payment, prepares export paperwork, and arranges tracked delivery.

The part details, availability and compatibility shown on the site are indicative and gathered from our supplier network. The binding details for your order, the exact part, its condition, the delivered price and the estimated delivery time, are confirmed in the quote we send you before you pay.

3. Requesting a part and how an order is formed

When you request a part, you are asking us for a quote, not placing a binding order. An order is only formed once we confirm availability, send you a delivered price, and you approve it and pay.

We may decline or cancel a request before dispatch, for example if a part turns out to be unavailable or mis-described by a supplier. If that happens after you have paid, we refund you in full or, with your agreement, source an identical replacement.

4. Prices and delivered pricing

We quote a delivered price: the price of the part plus cross-border shipping to your country. We do not add surprise shipping charges later.

A quote is valid for the period stated in it. Prices can change before you accept, because used stock and shipping rates move.

For destinations outside the European Union, local import duties or taxes may apply on arrival. These are set by your country and are your responsibility unless we state otherwise in writing.

5. Payment

We accept major cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Payments are handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. Payment is taken when you approve your quote, unless we agree otherwise.

6. Delivery and shipping zones

Every country maps to one of five shipping zones, two in Europe and three beyond. Your zone sets the delivery cost and the estimated transit time, which we share before you order.

We ship tracked and insured with UPS, FedEx, DHL, DPD or GLS, including full-pallet freight for large or heavy parts. You receive a tracking number once the carrier collects the part.

Delivery windows are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather or other events outside our control, though we will always help you chase a delayed shipment.

7. Availability and the 24-hour fallback

Used parts are one-of-a-kind, so availability can change. Our cancellation rate is about one in fifty.

If your specific unit becomes unavailable after you order, we source the identical OEM part from our network, usually within 24 hours, or refund you in full. This is our fulfilment promise.

8. Condition of used parts

All parts are used and are inspected and condition-graded at the source garage before they ship. Used parts show normal signs of previous use.

We describe condition honestly and, where it helps, share photos. We do not list parts we cannot actually supply.

9. Compatibility and fitment

The OEM code is the basis of your order. Confirming that the code and the part are correct for your vehicle is your responsibility. The compatibility information on the site is provided as guidance.

We recommend that parts are fitted by a qualified professional. We are not responsible for incorrect fitment or for parts ordered against the wrong code.

10. Returns, cancellations and refunds

You can cancel before we dispatch your part and receive a full refund.

If a part arrives not as described, or is incorrect for the OEM code you ordered, contact us within a reasonable time and we will make it right with a replacement or a refund.

Because parts are used and sourced to order, please check the OEM code and compatibility carefully before ordering. To start a return, email info@auto128.com with your order details.

Any statutory consumer rights you have are not affected by these terms.

11. Warranty

Mechanical and electronic units are functionally checked where possible. The specific guarantee that applies to your part is confirmed with your quote. Beyond that, used parts are supplied as inspected.

12. Customs, duties and export

We prepare the export paperwork for your shipment. For deliveries outside the EU, you are normally the importer of record, and any import duties or taxes are set and charged by your country.

13. Our liability

We deliver every order with care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for labour or fitting costs, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

14. Brands, OEM numbers and intellectual property

Auto128 is an independent used-parts service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of any vehicle manufacturer.

Manufacturer names, model names and OEM part numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used on this site only to identify the parts they fit.

The site design, text, logo and the way we organise and present data belong to Auto128 and may not be copied or scraped without our permission.

15. Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully and in good faith. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, harvest data in bulk, or use it to mislead others.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date below shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
