Auto128
For independent mechanics

Booking software for mechanics who are the whole business

You are the mechanic, the receptionist and the marketing department. Auto128 takes over the second and third of those, gives you a page that looks like a garage's, takes the customer's address when you go to him, and has a free plan with no card and no end date.

The daily friction

What actually goes wrong when you work alone

The same afternoon, twice. The first customer arrives 15 minutes late.

Back to back

Every customer after him waits 15 minutes

With 15 minutes of margin

The margin absorbs the delay, the next job starts on time

  • Every phone call is an unbilled minute

  • There is no second bay to fall back on

  • You look smaller than you are

Every phone call is an unbilled minute
Nobody else answers the phone. A booking arranged by calls and messages takes four or five exchanges spread across a day, often with your hands under a bonnet, and none of them are paid. Working alone does not mean less admin, it means the same admin done by the only person who could have been earning during it.
There is no second bay to fall back on
In a garage a double booking is awkward but survivable, because a colleague takes one of the cars. Alone, it means telling somebody who arrived on time, or who waited at home for you, that it will not happen today. Every scheduling mistake is visible, personal, and lands on the one relationship you cannot afford to lose.
You look smaller than you are
A customer comparing you to a garage sees a garage with a proper page, prices, photos and a booking button, and sees you with a phone number. Your work may be better than theirs. The surface is what decides, and the surface is where working alone puts you at a disadvantage.
How it works here

One person, with a garage's front door

The gap between an independent mechanic and a garage is not skill, it is infrastructure. This closes most of that gap on the first day, without a website and without a receptionist.

A public page that does not look improvised

Services, prices, work gallery and reviews behind one link.

The link answers instead of you

Customers pick the job and the time without a single call.

Double bookings become impossible

The calendar enforces your hours, breaks and durations.

Free while you build your customer base

30 bookings a month: enough to start and fill a part-time week.

A public page that does not look improvised
Services with prices and durations, your work gallery in albums, your real reviews and a booking button, at a link you can share the same afternoon. No website to build, no designer, no hosting to think about.
The link answers instead of you
Put it on your Google Maps listing or send it once, and customers pick a service and a time themselves. If you work at their place, the booking form asks for their address too. The back and forth disappears, along with the evenings spent on it.
Double bookings become impossible
Your working hours, breaks and service durations are set once and the calendar enforces them. Nothing can be booked into a slot that is taken or a time you are not working, so the mistake you cannot afford simply cannot happen.
Free while you build your customer base
Thirty bookings a month for one person is not a trial with a countdown. It is enough to start, bring your customers across and fill a part-time week, with no card, no expiry, and no commission on anything a customer books through your link.

Questions

What independent mechanics ask us

To start, yes. Thirty bookings a month covers a mechanic who is building a customer base or working part time, and the plan has no expiry date and asks for no card. If you pass thirty consistently, that is a sign the business grew, and Pro, at €10 a month, is there when it does.

No. The public page is the website: services with prices, work gallery, reviews and a booking button, at a link you can put on Google Maps the same day. If you already have a site, keep it and put the booking link on it.

Yes. Turn on the customer address option and the booking form asks where you are going: street, number, building and flat. The address arrives with the booking, so you know where the job is before you set off.

You move to Pro, which adds separate calendars and services for up to three people behind the same booking link. Nothing is migrated and nothing is lost, your existing customers and history carry over as they are.
