Why we offer a free plan with no end date
If you stay on the free plan for years, that is fine.

Because a mechanic just starting out has nothing to pay a subscription with before he has customers. A 14-day trial forces the decision exactly when there is least to show, and that helps no one.
Our model is simple: we earn only once your workshop has grown enough to need more. We take no percentage of your revenue, we do not sell your customers to anyone, and we do not ask for a card to let you sign up. If you stay on the free plan for years, that is fine.
