About the SEAT 850
The SEAT 850 (100GD) was a popular saloon car produced from 1965 to 1974. It was a compact and practical choice for families and city drivers. With its small size and easy handling, it was perfect for navigating busy streets and tight parking spots. This model was part of SEAT's range of economical and reliable vehicles that offered a comfortable ride for everyday use.
Under the hood, the SEAT 850 (100GD) featured a 0.9-liter petrol engine with a power output of 37 PS or 27 kW. It had a rear-wheel drive system, which was common for cars of its time. The engine, known by the code D16G750, used either an intake manifold injection or a carburettor for fuel delivery. With four cylinders and two valves per cylinder, it provided a smooth driving experience. However, it did not include modern features like a catalytic converter, ABS, or ASR, which are common in today's cars.
